Future Platform
Summary
The purpose of Toyota’s future platform prototype is to test and vet our implemented strategy with a simulation of the ideal user primary journey before roll out on Toyota.com.

The Process
This was a 7-week project focusing on four different areas of Toyota.com: Style Guide, Model Landing Page, Build & Price, and a User Profile.
The work was split amongst these categories and divided between the three visual designers and two XD designers, working in tandem with support from our Strategist.
Running on an Agile workflow using JIRA, our team operated on 2-week sprints with weekly reviews from our Product Owner and key stakeholders. Reviews and final designs were presented through an InVision prototype.
Visual Design
I was responsible for the creation of the User Profile, which consists of 2 areas including a Shopper Profile and an Owner Profile.
The Shopper Profile includes all vehicles saved throughout the user’s journey, giving them inventory recommendations and direct contact to their preferred dealer.
The Owner Profile gives personalized information specific to the user’s purchased vehicle(s), including a vehicle health status tracker and helpful vehicle maintenance tips. Reminders for upcoming payments and servicing are clear and easy to track. A badging system that connects users to other Toyota drivers, is earned through attending events put on through a partnership with Yelp.
